The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Pratap Singh Kiron, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of Scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of Pilgrimage. The Institute started in 1962 and Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru inaugurated the hospital now named “Nehru Hospital” on 7th July 1963.

पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मेडिकल एजुकेषन एंड रिसर्च(पीजीआईएमईआर)चंडीगढ़ ने एक नोटिस जारी किया है। इस सूचना में टीचिंग एंड नॉन टीचिंग भर्ती 2023 के लिए विज्ञापन जारी किया गया है। इस रोजगार विज्ञापन में रिक्त पदो के लिए आवेदन स्वीकार किए जाएंगे। उम्मीदवार की षैक्षिक योग्यता, उम्र सीमा, फीस, चयन क्रिया आदि जानकारी के लिए विभाग की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर जाकर जांच लें ताकि किसी प्रकार की त्रुटि न रह जाएं। इस रिक्ति के लिए 50 वर्ष अधिकतम उम्र की सीमा तय की गई है, जो कि आरक्षित वर्ग के लिए है, वही सामान्य वर्ग के लिए 45 वर्ष अधिकतम उम्र है। वहीं फीस सामान्य व पिछड़ा वर्ग के लिए 1000 रूपये एवं आरक्षित वर्ग के लिए 1000 रूपये एवं अन्य के लिए कुछ भी नहीं है।
Eligibility Criteria for PGIMER Recruitment 2023

- Senior Resident- candidate must have Medical Qualification, Postgraduate degree in the Specialty concerned.
- Senior Medical Officer- Candidate must have Post Graduate qualification is MD/MS(Medicine/Surgery)
- Jr/Sr Demonstrator- Candidate must have to pass MSC in subject concerned Ph.D. in the subject concerned.
- Age Limit– Maximum age limit is 45 years for SC/ST category candidates and 50 years for other category candidates.
- Application Fee – Category wise application fee is different for every candidate. SC/ST application fee is Rs. 1000/- and Rs. 500/- is for others.
- Selection Process – Selection process will be based on the Written Exam and Departmental personal Interview.
- Pay scale Selected candidates will get pay scale as per Govt. norms.
